I got put on probation last semester, and my counselor said I could take it off my record and appeal because I had a lot of issues with my financial aid and other situations. Students are placed on academic probation at the end of the semester when their SDSU GPA and/or cumulative GPA is less than 2.0 (less than a "C" average).
