I assume that is a picture of the key switch. That is not the original key switch. The original switch only had 3 terminals on a gas tractor. Since that one has 4 terminals and pigtail wires to get the proper blade type connectors to tap into the wiring harness it is probably an aftermarket switch designed for a diesel that used the fourth terminal for the therm-o-start option.Terminal 3 (S) is the start and goes to the safety starter switch and the coil term on the starter solenoid.
