In my dex/faith build, I balanced leveling faith and dexterity and worked fine, but you might have to get 46 Strength for that Demon's Greataxe, or at least to one hand it. For PvP, a Darkmoon Blade/SLB buffed Demon's Greataxe is no joke, but a Great Club will also suffice.
